Age Limit : Candidates must not below 18 years and above 30 years of age as on 01/12/12 (Excluding Post No. 10) Relaxation : SC/ST – 5 yrs. ; OBC – 3 yrs. ; PH – 10 yrs. (except post no.1, 2, 3,4,7 & 10).Application fee : Rs.200/- for General and OBC Candidates (NO fee for SC/ST/PH Candidates) – DD in favour of Eastern Coalfields  Limited  payable at State Bank of India, Sanctoria Branch.

How to Apply : Candidates may apply either ONLINE or OFFLINE (Application format).ONLINE Application : Candidates may apply ONLINE from 1st December 2012 at the Official Website :http://www.easterncoal.gov.in/ After applying online, candidate is required to take a printout of the Application Form, sign at the space provided, paste recent passport size color photograph and send to the Manager (Recruitment), Eastern Coalfields Limited, Personnel Department ,HQ, AtSanctoria, po-Dishergarh , Dist-Burdwan,West Bengal, Pin-713333 along with two additional photographs, self- addressed  envelope with postal stamp, copies of the testimonials, mark sheets/experience certificates, bank draft super scribing in the top of the application about the post applied for.

Pre-requisites for submitting applications online :

I ) Valid E-mail ID. The E-mail ID entered in the online application from should remain  active until the recruitment is completed. No change in the e-mail ID will be allowed once entered.

ii) While applying On-line, candidate should keep the scanned copy of their passport size color photograph .jpg or jpeg file only, each less than 20 KB size) for uploading with application.

OFFLINE Mode : Candidates are required to apply in the prescribed format. The application complete in all
